Who are we?
Kiddi Beat is a unique South African Music Education programme that caters for children from birth to pre-school. The lesson material is specifically written to encompass a variety of music and song styles, cultures and languages reflecting the diversity of the South African population.
The slogan 'I can sing, move and play' indicates the active nature of the material written. Through being creatively and purposefully involved in music making children will come to love and understand music. While singing, playing on instruments, reading music, listening and moving they discover, understand and recognize the concepts of music.
Music also becomes the tool to facilitate other developmental activities such as active play, story telling, visual and aural stimulation, language and reading, life skills, social interaction and numeracy. Learning therefore becomes and interactive fun experience and whole brain development is stimulated.

Kiddi Beat offers you the choice between two programmes, namely Kiddi Beat SP
and Kiddi Beat ED.
Kiddi Beat SP is intended for music specialists to present in studios, as well as for visiting facilitators in créches and nursery schools. The SP therefore represents the specialist music facilitator.
Kiddi Beat ED is intended for pre-school facilitators and créche personnel to present as part of their daily curriculum, as well as by caregivers who would like to stimulate their children at home or in play groups. The ED therefore represents any educator that wishes to engage children in music activities.
